The Corporate Engineering Department at Mirror Lake has an opening for an Office Manager that will provide technically oriented administrative support to the department staff, administer various departmental systems, and provide support as needed to the Corporate Maintenance Department, Ergon Terminaling, and Ergon Construction Group.    

The person chosen will assist the Corporate Engineering staff to maintain efficiency in daily operations, maintain the electronic project filing system/database, code and approve department invoices, and support and/or facilitate the onboarding process for any department new hires/re-hires. 

The person will also help coordinate the needs of co-ops during transition week and the needs of new hires/employees, departmental meetings and training classes, and departmental lunch and learns with outside vendors.  The person will also be responsible for managing the functionality of office equipment, the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, the inventory of office supplies, and the general housekeeping of the engineering copy and break rooms.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience and strong communication and organizational skills, with technical writing and administration of engineering and construction management systems experience being preferred.
