Ergon, Inc.: Building Manager

Ergon is currently recruiting for a Building Manager for Mirror Lake and other Ergon properties.    

This position is accountable for the day-to-day planning, maintenance, renovations, custodial, grounds keeping and repair of commercial and residential properties and directing staff to prepare and maintain these facilities as needed.

The person selected will plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance, major repairs, and remodeling or construction projects for Mirror Lake facilities and other Ergon-owned buildings and real estate and prepare and administer contracts for provision of property services, such as cleaning, maintenance, and security services. 

The person chosen will prepare department budgets and manage finances to ensure all operations are within the budget, create purchase orders for building needs, manage authorizations for expenditures for any major capital projects, manage facility security systems, and serve as the liaison with local emergency services personnel.

A high school diploma or GED with a minimum of ten years in the building maintenance/management field is required.  The person selected must have expertise in complex building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security and excellent verbal, customer service, and interpersonal skills.  The person chosen must be organized, be able to multi-task efficiently and troubleshoot problems, and have a knowledge of building trades.  The person selected must also have a valid driver’s license, be able to lift 50 pounds or more, and be able to work flexible hours and be on call.
