Ergon Construction Group is currently seeking a Project Superintendent for its Alliant Construction division at Mirror Lake.
This position will provide supervision and coordination of the field construction of a project, or multiple projects, by completing the work on schedule, within budget, and to the quality of the workmanship specified.
The person chosen will have a thorough and complete knowledge and understanding all aspects of the project, will assist the Project Manager in the development and refinement of the Project Schedule, and will plan and review the Construction Program for the project with the Program Manager. The person selected will also coordinate, direct, monitor, and inspect all activities of the subcontractors, suppliers, and Alliant’s labor and material, will verify that each subcontractor has completed the necessary contractual requirements prior to beginning work at the job site, and will see that all required permits and licenses have been obtained to ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of five years of commercial construction supervision and/or project management experience with public, private or federal projects are required. The person selected must be able to read blue prints, have an understanding of project cost analysis, be able to use Sage 100 Contractor software and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and be familiar with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6 software. The person chosen must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts and man lifts.
