The Risk Management Department at Mirror Lake is currently seeking a Director of Insurance to join their team.
This position will manage Ergon’s Global Risk Management program including the structuring, negotiation, purchase, and management of the company’s Property & Casualty and management liability policies, be responsible the annual premium spending and associated allocations to the company’s different business units, and direct the company’s insurance renewal information gathering process, completion of applications, and audit process.
This position will also direct property engineering surveys, reports, site visits and annual recommendation tracking, direct and lead brokerage partner relationships, and prepare TCOR analyses and budgets, identify exposures, and offer solutions to mitigate overall risk.
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance or business, and ten or more years of experience in risk management and insurance. The person selected must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, have strong interpersonal and presentation skills, be a strategic and creative thinker, and able to handle multiple priorities and assignments simultaneously in fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include ARM, CRM, CPCU or CIC designation, MBA or other advanced degree, and experience presenting to executive management.
