Ergon-West Virginia, Inc. in Newell has an opening for an Assistant Engineering Manager that will administer and coordinate the affairs of all disciplines of engineering including Design & Drafting, Instrumentation, and Purchasing to achieve overall departmental and corporate goals.
This position ensures department training and safety needs are identified and met, develops and implements the departmental expense budget, and assures Engineering related tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner. The position also strives to continually improve all aspects of the department, provides technical support of the department, as necessary, and assists in coordinating maintenance shutdowns and turnarounds.
A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, is required, with a minimum of five years of experience in an engineering environment. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills and experience with Microsoft products are required.
