Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions in Las Vegas, NV has an opening for an Administrative Assistant / Shipping Clerk.
The person chosen will be responsible for receiving and scheduling shipping and freight operations and managing daily inventories, material transfers, and other basic administrative duties within the facility.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in a dispatch, warehouse, shipping and/or inventory management setting. Proficiency in computers and computer software, including Microsoft Office and Excel, and knowledge of basic administrative and clerical procedures are musts. Knowledge of inventory systems and practices and DOT shipping requirements is preferred. The person selected must possess basic mathematical skills, good organizational, verbal and written communication skills, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
